Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh government has withdrawn its steps on the formula of three capitals. In the cabinet meeting held today, the Jagan government has not taken any decision on the issue of three capitals and now it has been postponed till next year. On the formula of three capital, the farmers and the opposition came out in opposition to the government.

Now in front of this protest, YS Jagan government of Andhra Pradesh has accepted defeat. The Jagan cabinet has postponed the decision of 2020 Rajdhani till 3 January. With this, it has been decided to constitute a committee. GN Rao will lead this committee. Based on the report of this committee, a final decision will be taken on the current capital Amravati. This committee will consist of three members.

Along with this, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet led by CM YS Jagan through its predecessor Chandrababu Naidu government is in favor of CBI investigation of alleged insider trading in Amravati capital region. Earlier, on the issue of the three capital, from the farmer to the opposition, they took the road and started protesting against the government. In view of this, Section-144 was implemented in Amravati. A heavy police force was deployed in Amravati before the cabinet meeting held today.
