Jind: Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving a life sentence in Rohtak jail in connection with rape and murder case, health suddenly deteriorated last Wednesday evening. Ram Rahim was admitted to Rohtak PGI under tight security after his health deteriorated. Some sources say Gurmeet has been admitted to the VIP ward here after he was diagnosed with corona symptoms. However, it is yet to be officially confirmed. Gurmeet Ram Rahim was reportedly examined by doctors at a jail hospital after his health deteriorated.
A team from PGI was sent to jail after his condition did not improve. It was then decided to admit him. According to reports, a security cordon was set up around Ram Rahim before shifting to PGI. On the other hand, it has been reported that police brought DSP Shamsher Singh Dahiya from jail to the hospital at 6.10 pm under his protection. The ambulance was stopped directly outside the MS office and Ram Rahim was taken to the special ward under security cover as soon as he landed.
