Heavy rain continues in Rajasthan in the month of August. Monsoon is showing its activity in almost all parts of the state. The weather department has also forecast rainy weather in most parts of the state on Friday. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 12 districts of southeastern Rajasthan on August 21 and four cities in western Rajasthan.

According to the Meteorological Department, in many cities of southeastern Rajasthan, there will be rains on Friday. Torrential rain is also expected in some areas. The weather department has issued an orange alert for 12 districts of southeastern Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Baran, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Rajsamand, Sirohi and Udaipur districts apart from moderate to heavy rain. Heavy rains have also been warned in some areas in these cities.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for 4 cities of western Rajasthan. There are chances of thunderstorms and heavy rain. According to the weather forecast, there may be rain in Barmer, Pali, Jalore and Jodhpur in western Rajasthan. The conditions are gradually improving due to continuous rains in the state. So far, 5 districts in the state have received more rain than usual. Of these, 40 per cent rainfall has been recorded in Churu, 26 in Jaipur, 22 in Nagaur, 21 in Sikar and 15 per cent in Jodhpur.
