Despite continuous monsoon activity in Rajasthan, it has so far rained 6 percent less than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the state should receive 421.69 mm of rain during this period in August, but so far it has been 394.71 mm. For the moment, once again the monsoon activities are weak, but it has not stopped. The weather department has also forecasted rain in many parts of the state on Friday.

The weather department has announced a yellow alert in 3 cities for Friday. There may be heavy rains in Baran, Sawaimadhopur and Karauli. Apart from this, the possibility of normal rain has been expressed at many places in Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions.

The Water Resources Department has forecasted normal rains in the state so far. According to the department, normal rains have occurred in 22 districts of the state and abnormal rains in 3 districts. Less than normal rainfall has been recorded in 8 districts of the state. Talking about the overall figures, the state has still received 6 percent less rainfall than normal. This time the move was very slow in Rajasthan during the early monsoon period.

Due to this, in the first phase, only a few areas got rain and other areas remained dry. But in the first week of August, the monsoon started showing activity. After that, the cloud cover lashed many areas of the state. The heavy rains in Jaipur, the capital, had created flood-like situations. Heavy rain occurred in many areas of the Mewar region.
