On Friday,The bomb scare on the Jalandhar-Udhampur train passedout to be a con minutes after the train was obstructed and evacuated at Kandrori in Kangra district of Himachal

After a passenger hiked the alarm about a possible bomb threat on spotting an unrecognized bag, the train was halted and the army and police were called in.

Rakesh Kaushal(Pathankot senior superintendent of police)said, “While the searched were on, a woman turned up and claimed the unrecognized bag was hers”

Rakesh had pressed in his officers led by deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Manoj Thakur to carry out searches at the railway tracks, located about 20 km from Pathankot air base where a terror attack on January 2 had left four infiltrators and three security personnel dead. The train was allowed to resume its journey soon after.
