It is pertinent to say that a two-judge bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Judge Mohammad Qasim Khan rejected the petition, stating that the petitioner's counsel can file separate petitions against each FIR. It is also being said that Saeed's lawyer AK Dogar argued that the assets mentioned were never used to finance terrorism and no evidence exists in favor of such false allegations. is.
In a report, he said that calling Saeed and other Jamaat leaders as leaders of Lashkar-e-Taiba is factually and legally incorrect. Significantly, the Anti-Terrorism Department had registered 23 FIRs against the petitioners for financing terrorism in various cities of Punjab province and arrested Saeed on 17 July. He is kept in custody at Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Jail.
