New Delhi: After the cancellation of admission of Safoora Zargar, accused of anti-Hindu riots in the national capital, Jamia Millia Islamia University students protested by raising slogans. During this, the students of Jamia also raised poisonous slogans in public. Please tell that Safoora Zargar is an accused in the Delhi riots in February 2020, who is currently out on bail. Being pregnant, the court had granted bail to Safoora on humanitarian grounds.

Hate slogans like 'RSS Ki Kabra Khudgi, Jamia Ki Dharti Par' and 'ABVP Ki Kabra Khudgi, Jamia Ki Dharti Par' were also raised during the protest by the students of Jamia Millia. Safoora Zargar had not completed her thesis and no progress was visible in it, after which Jamia cancelled her admission. She had not submitted her M.Phil thesis even after having 5 semesters. Now the students of Jamia have come out to raise slogans in support of Safoora with posters and banners.

At the same time, Safoora Zargar herself is making an issue of this decision of Jamia Millia Islamia through social media. Earlier, she had claimed that she was being diverted here and there for the extension. Safoora had also accused the professors of cheating and dishonesty, accusing her of taking away her 'right to education'. Not only this, Safoora Zargar has also written a letter to Jamia from 150 alleged activists in her support. Now provocative slogans are being raised in her support on the university campus.

Safoora Zargar had taken admission to the Department of Sociology. The university had said that their project supervisor did not find Safoora Zargar's report satisfactory. Also, he did not apply for an extension. She was also given an additional sixth semester because of Corona, which ended on February 6, 2022. Safoora Zargar, who was booked under UAPA, was arrested in April 2020 after the anti-CAA riots.

Let us tell you that Safoora Zargar was involved in the conspiracy in which bloodshed was done in Delhi to destabilize the Government of India. In June of that year, the Delhi High Court granted him bail on humanitarian grounds. The central government had said that it had no objection to the release of Safoora Zargar, after which she was released. However, the court also ordered Safoora Zargar would not affect the investigation and would not leave the Delhi area without informing the court.

What was Delhi's anti-Hindu riot?

Let us tell you that, the 2020 riots are called anti-Hindu riots because, the main accused in the riots and former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain himself has confessed that he had hatched this conspiracy to teach a lesson to Hindus. He had demolished the CCTVs of the area and asked his men to collect sticks and weapons. Whereas, the Hindus on the other hand did not know that preparations were going on for several days to attack them. Unconcerned with the fear of any untoward incident, the Hindus could not even save themselves when they were attacked. Hindu shops were set on fire, looted and stone pelting started. 53 people died in these riots, while more than 200 were injured. Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma was also killed in the same anti-Hindu riots, 400 knife marks were found on his body. That is, the hatred was to such an extent that, even after death, Ankit was constantly being stabbed, his body was found in a drain located near the house of former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain.
