Guwahati: Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has come forward to help those who are released on bail from Detention Camps in Assam. The Guwahati High Court hearing a petition has granted bail to 20 people living in detention camps, who could not prove their citizenship in the NRC process and have been declared foreigners.
Now, for his resurgence on bail, Maulana Arshad Madni, president of the Islamic organization Jamiat Ulema Hind, has decided to give him financial assistance. It is noteworthy that in connection with the release of those living in detention camps in Assam, the apex court, during a hearing on 13 April 2020, ordered the release of prisoners who have been declared as foreigners and who are two years or more Detention camps in Assam have been closed since time.
Along with this, the Supreme Court had said that these people should be released on Indian citizens bail with conditions. Let us tell you that in view of the worldwide coronavirus epidemic, the Supreme Court has given this order while relaxing the conditions.
