Jammu: There are many attacks in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army has given a befitting reply to Pakistan, which often violates the ceasefire along the borderline in Jammu and Kashmir. At least 10 jawans were killed in Pakistan in retaliation by Indian Army in Tattapani area, while some were seriously injured. The army has also ended many posts in Pakistan.

On Tuesday, at about seven o'clock at the Line of Control, the Pakistani Army violated the ceasefire on the LoC in Krishna Valley, Mankot sector of Poonch city, targeting the army posts as well as the residential areas and started firing. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to this nefarious activity of the Pakistani Army, during which, the firing stopped on both sides after three hours.

Many houses in Mankot area were also damaged in the firing, and many cattle seriously injured. Due to the sudden firing, villagers had to take refuge in safe areas. On the other hand, mortars were showered by the army at those posts of the Pakistani Army from where the firing was being done. Smoke was seen rising from Pakistani posts. Along with this, in July, Pakistan has violated ceasefire 47 times in Poonch, Rajouri, Kupwara and Baramulla cities along the Line of Control. Pakistan once again suffered a failure in retaliation by the security forces.
