Srinagar: A huge fire broke out at residential area of Buchwara Dalgate in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, which swallowed up several homes. A gas cylinder blast is the suspected reason behind the fire, which was initially commenced from one house and then started engulfing others too.
According to a local resident, Mushtaq Ahmad, “"The government should do something for the victims of this tragedy”.
"Fire officers rushed to douse the blaze, but only 50 percent of the fire has been controlled," fire officer, Ali Mohammad said.
