Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir's administration today released two more local leaders from house arrest. According to information, Dilawar Mir and Ghulam Hasan Mir of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been released from detention. Both were under house arrest since 5 August. Both were released after being under house arrest for 110 days. Along with this, two other MLAs have been shifted from hostels to their homes.

Both the released leaders Dilawar Mir and Ghulam Hasan Mir are former MLAs. According to officials, Ashraf Mir and Hakin Yasin, who were MLAs in the assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, have been shifted to their homes, but their detention has not been removed yet. For the time being, both the leaders will remain under house arrest. Both Mir and Yasin were among the 34 political leaders who were kept in MLA hostels after being shifted from the Centaur Hotel in Srinagar.
