Srinagar: A terrorist belonging to terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen was killed in an encounter with security forces on Tuesday in Pulwama, South Kashmir. The encounter took place in Awantipora of Pulwama and the name of the slain terrorist is being reported as Zahid Hasan. It is reported that the security forces had started a joint operation in Charsu area of Avantipora to catch this terrorist.

During this, the location of the terrorist was asked to surrender as soon as it was discovered. But the terrorist refused to surrender. It is also reported that his family also tried to celebrate it, but he did not agree. After this, the terrorist Zahid opened fire on the security forces, in response to which the security forces also had to fire on it and the terrorist Zahid was killed in the encounter. The body of Zahid has been recovered by the security forces from the site of the encounter.

1 pistol, 1 magazine, 6 live cartridges and a hand grenade have been recovered from the slain terrorist Zahid Hasan. The operation was carried out by a joint team of Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police. At present, the security forces are conducting search operations in the entire area and are engaged in the search of the terrorists.
