Srinagar: Army in Jammu and Kashmir is constantly engaged in wiping out terrorists. In this episode, militants' encounters with security forces continue in Sopore under Baramulla district of Kashmir. Security forces have surrounded three terrorists which is hidden on a hideout. Firing is going on from both sides. It is being told that a commander is also included in 3 terrorists.

According to the information, security forces received input about the hideout of three militants in Reban area of Sopore on Saturday night. After this, 22 RR of Police Army and 92 Battalion of CRPF surrounded the area from all sides. As the search operation started on Sunday morning amid the siege of the area, the militants opened fire on the team. After which the encounter started.

It is being told that in the counter operation, the army has so far killed one terrorist, although officially no official has given any statement on it yet. Some other terrorists are still hiding in the area. According to police officials, the three terrorists came to the area with the intention of carrying out an incident but it was reported to the security forces. After which the area was cordoned off.
