Srinagar: A statement by the leader of Jammu Kashmir Youth Congress on the victory of Joe Biden in the US presidential election has sparked the controversy. Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress leader Jahanzeb Sirwal released a video saying that 'Joe Biden will reinstate Section 370 and Article 35A in Jammu and Kashmir by putting pressure on the Modi government'.

Jahanzeb Sirwal further said that 'Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' victory in America is a victory for democracy. As far as India is concerned, this will have some positive effect in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir. There will be some reduction in the way Islamophobia is being spread across the world. Jahanjeb Sirwal said that looking at the earlier statements of Joe Biden, it seems that Joe Biden will pressurize the Government of India and the decision to remove Section 370 and Article 35A will be withdrawn. '

Let us tell you that during the presidential campaign in America, Joe Biden criticized the decision to remove the provision of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, Biden also expressed displeasure over the Indian government's stance on the National Citizenship Register (NRC) and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
