Jammu Kashmir: A landslide took place near Jammu & Kashmir's Rezin, Ganderbal district today, April 20, which led to blockage of the Srinagar-Sonamarg road, the officials said.

Police report that no fatalities or property damage have been associated with the incident to date.

Kangan Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Tehsildar Gund, and the Gund police force had all rushed the sport in the meanwhile. Traffic has been rerouted via Zirpora Road, and roads will be cleared with assistance from Beacon officials, according to the police.

More information is awaited. According to local officials, a landslip took place close to Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday and resulted in the closure of a road. However, There have been no casualties associated with the incident.

Another Official said, There was a situation of chaos last evening. Some people ran away to save their lives. The area was blocked from the front and the back and three to four houses were damaged. The landslide severely damaged 3 to 4 houses. We had given an ultimatum and proved the cracks. We want the administration to estimate the loss and do the needful

The road between Pahalgam and Chandanwari Road was blocked by a landslip brought on by the torrential rain, which was later cleared by the District Administration Anantnag and Municipal Council Pahalgam, according to an official.

National Highway will be cleared with the help of Beacon authorities, the police informed.  District officials have also been alerted that traffic has resumed on the route.
