Jammu: A major accident took place in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. The footbridge has collapsed amid the Baisakhi festival at Beni Sangam in Bain village of Chenani block of Udhampur. The news of many devotees getting injured in this accident is also being heard. Rescue operations are underway. Police and other teams have reached the spot. Udhampur SSP Dr. Vinod said that the rescue team has reached the spot and the rescue operation has also started.
20 to 25 devotees were injured. Reports say that the bridge over Devika collapsed in the midst of the Baisakhi fair at Beni Sangam in Udhampur. The collapse of the bridge created an atmosphere of chaos. Significantly, on the special occasion of Baisakhi, a crowd of devotees had gathered here. Meanwhile, this accident happened. There is information that 20 to 25 devotees were injured in this accident. At present, no one's condition is serious.
