Actor Janhvi Kapoor is all set for her big Telugu debut, NTR 30, opposite Jr NTR in an upcoming project which will be directed by Koratala Siva. On Monday, Janhvi shared the first poster from the film on her 26th birthday. In the poster, Janhvi sat on rocks as she turned back and smiled. The actress was dressed in a pink and blue traditional outfit. 
Janhvi captioned the post, "It is finally happening (hugging face emoji). Can't wait to set sail with my favourite @jrntr (red heart emoji). #NTR30." Reacting to the post, a fan commented, "She said in an interview she loves to work with him, now she got the opportunity." A comment read, "Can't wait." Another comment, "This is so good." Several fans also wished Janhvi on her birthday as well as congratulated her on Telugu debut.

The big announcement comes after there were rumours aplenty that Janhvi Kapoor has been approached to star  Karthi in the Tamil film Paiyaa 2, which will be directed by Linguswamy. Not entertaining this rumour, her father Boney Kapoor stated saying that the actress has not signed any Tamil project. Boney Kapoor's tweet read: "Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors."

NTR Jr welcomed her to the Telugu film industry and commented on the post, “Welcome on board Janhvi. Wishing you a very happy birthday… Have a great one!” Meanwhile, NTR Jr is currently in the US to attend the Oscars 2023 ceremony, where the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from his global hit RRR is nominated in the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the thriller Mili. She is known for starring in films like Roohi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Ghost Stories, and GoodLuck Jerry among others. Her upcoming projects include Dostana 2, Bawaal, and Mr. And Mrs. Mahi. Janhvi made her big Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions' Dhadak, co-starring Ishaan Khatter. Her upcoming projects, Bawaal and Mr and Mrs Mahi are also in the pipeline.

Janhvi Kapoor is all set to rock in opposite with Jr NTR in this untitled film, Jr NTR will be reuniting with Koratala Siva for NTR 30 after Janatha Garage. The project is expected to go on floors this month.
