Bumrah, a right-arm fast bowler, has recorded the record for most 7 maiden overs in T20 international cricket. Earlier this record was registered in the name of Nuwan Kulasekara of Sri Lanka.

Kulasekara bowled a total of 6 maiden overs, but Bumrah has now overtaken him. Bumrah has played a total of 50 T20 matches for India, in which he has taken 59 wickets in his name. After Jasprit Bumrah, the record for throwing the most maiden overs for India is in the name of Harbhajan Singh, who has scored 5 maiden overs in T20 Internationals.
