Javagal Srinath is considered one of the very fast bowlers of India. He is the first Indian fast bowler to take more than 300 wickets in One Day Internationals. Talking about biography of Javagal Srinath, Srinath was born on 31 August 1969 in Karnataka. Former Indian cricketer Srinath is currently the ICC match referee.

Srinath was a frontline fast bowler for the Indian cricket team until his retirement and after Kapil Dev's swing ended, he led the Indian fast bowling attack for 9 years. After Anil Kumble, Srinath is the second highest wicket-taker in ODI cricket. Srinath has retired from cricket in 2002, although he played the 2003 World Cup at the behest of then captain Sourav Ganguly. Finally, Srinath has retired from international cricket after the World Cup in South Africa in 2003. 

Javagal Srinath was born on 31 August 1969 in Mysore district in Karnataka. He started playing cricket at an early age. He completed his early studies from Marimallappa High School in Mysore. Srinath also completed an engineering course. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysore. Shrinath's first marriage was with Jyotsna in 1999. Although both have been divorced by mutual consent, after the divorce from their first wife, they married journalist Madhavi Patravi in 2008.
