The wrong reasons have been given for Jaya Bachchan's photographed departure from a fashion week with granddaughter Navya Naveli. In the video, Jaya can be heard saying, "Serves you right," as she corrects a man for stumbling. I want you to trip and fall."

Urfi shared the video in her Instagram story and expressed her displeasure with her inappropriate behaviour. She also felt sympathy for the photographers.

The actress penned: "Is that what she just said? "I hope you double and fall." Please, let's hope that none of us end up like her. Regardless of who is in front of or behind the camera. Although you may be older or more powerful than them, people will respect you if you are kind to them."

In a different passage, Urfi was frank and admitted that she tries to restrain herself from sharing her opinions in public, but that she also believes it is crucial to speak up when necessary.

She revealed, "I sometimes despise the fact that I have such strong opinions because I want to be in control, but dayum, this mouth. I am aware that by speaking up, I am jeopardising my employment prospects, but yaar chup nahi raha jata. I believe it demonstrates how entitled you are when you remain silent about issues that don't bother you. Toh jinke ghar nahi aati unke liye hum kyun bole, apne ghar paani bijli aati hai. Yes, that is wo waali baat lagti!"

In her final statement, the actress said, "I know all people will never be at an equal level, but at least we can all get equal opportunities to grow - for that we all need to raise our voices."

Urfi recently criticised the creators of Bigg Boss for selecting 'Me Too' accuser Sajid Khan as a contestant. She referred to him in her stories as a sexual predator and demanded that he be fired from the programme because he never apologised to any of the women he had harassed sexually.
