Lucknow: After the death of National President of rashtriya lok dal (RLD) Chaudhary Ajit Singh, discussions have intensified on who should be handed over the party's bagdaur. According to sources, the national executive is scheduled to hold a virtual meeting on May 25, which may seal the name of the party's national president.

Sources say Chaudhary may be handed over to Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) bagdaur Jayant Chaudhary after Ajit Singh. Tell us that party national president Chaudhary Ajit Singh passed away on the 6th of this month. The post of national president has been lying vacant since then. A virtual meeting of the National Executive has been convened on May 25 at 11 am.  Virtual meetings are reportedly one way to meet normally in view of the growing corona infection.

The National Lok Dal (RLD) is said to have sought permission from the Election Commission to elect the National President through a virtual meeting. Jayant's coronation is expected to be scheduled on May 25 after permission from the commission.
