Patna: Jd(U) candidate has returned the ticket at Muzaffarpur in Bihar. JD (U) candidate Manoj Kushwaha was contested by the party from Minapur assembly constituency, but Manoj Kushwaha was fiercely opposed in the name of outsider in the region. Manoj Kushwaha said he had demanded a ticket from Kudhani seat but the party gave him a ticket from Minapur seat.

He said that he is not able to get the support of the workers on this seat. He has returned the tickets due to non-cooperation. Manoj Kushwaha has been elected from the Kudhani assembly constituency in Muzaffarpur. But in 2015, when JDU and BJP were contesting separately, BJP candidate Kedar Gupta defeated him. This time the Kudhani seat is in the BJP quota. Due to this, JDU had fielded Manoj Kushwaha from Minapur assembly constituency. In Minapur, BJP leaders as well as JD (U) leaders also started opposing Kushwaha as outsiders.

The protest swelled so much that Manoj Kushwaha announced the withdrawal of his ticket. The JD (U) has taken up the matter seriously. Even if there is a need to change the candidate in this seat, tickets will not be given to those who are opposing the party candidate.
