Kaimur: Bhagwanpur police of Kaimur district of Bihar has arrested the notorious dacoit who was absconding for 20 years. Several cases have been registered against the crook, including robbery, kidnapping for ransom. The district police had announced a reward of five thousand rupees last year on the rogue who had been absconding for many years.

In this regard, Kaimur Superintendent of Police Dilnawaz Ahmed has informed the media that the police is running a campaign to arrest criminals for the election. Meanwhile, the notorious dacoit Daroga Lauhar who has been absconding for 20 years has been arrested from near the border of Bihar UP. The arrested criminal is said to be a resident of Beldi village of Bhagwanpur police station area.

He said that the dacoit would have committed horrific robbery as well as kidnapping for ransom in several houses by forming a gang. These people used to kidnap children from the countryside and hide them in a mountain cave. Police have also found many skeletons from those caves before. A permanent warrant was also issued against the arrested accused by the court. Police is currently interrogating the criminal dacoit.
