Katihar: A shocking incident has come to light from Bihar's Katihar where 70-year-old Janata Dal United senior leader Kailash Mahto was killed outside his house by bike-borne criminals with multiple shots in the stomach and head. According to the received report, the cause of the incident is mutual enmity over the land. 

According to the information received, a few days back the deceased leader had requested the administration for security. The deceased Kailash Mahato was a resident of Ward No. 12 Gandhigram of East Barinagar Panchayat under Burari police station area. The incident is near the agriculture farm house.

The miscreants fired several bullets on the Janata Dal United leader's chest, after being shot he was taken to the health center, where doctors declared him brought dead. As soon as the news of the incident was received, Burari police reached the spot and after investigation, started raids to nab the miscreants.
