In the eighties, his pairing with actresses Sridevi and Jaya Prada was very well liked. Due to not getting good roles in films in the 2000s, he reduced working in films to a great extent. During this time, he remained his guide in establishing his daughter, Ekta Kapoor, as a producer on the small screen. Jeetendra has enthralled the audience with his powerful performances in more than 250 films in a cinematic career spanning four decades. These days, Jeetendra is helping his daughter, Ekta Kapoor, in filmmaking.
