US approves Jeff Bezos's Space Flight 'Blue Origin', to launch on 20 July

San Francisco: On Tuesday, Federal Aviation Administration has permitted Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin to carry humans on the space. The company's rocket had to go under hardware and software tests later FAA confirmed that it met the requirements. Former Amazon.com chief executive Jeff Bezos is set to fly to the edge of space on Blue Origin's maiden crewed voyage on July 20.

Due to this billionaire and Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos confirmed his retirement Officially, and now Andy Jassy takes over as CEO. One of the tourists is the unnamed auction winner who paid $28 million for a seat -- their identity soon be revealed in the coming days.

Blue Origin's news comes just days after Richard Branson launched to the edge of space aboard Virgin Galactic's first fully crewed flight on Sunday, in which Bezos said he "can't wait to join the club". To honor the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing he chose 20 July as the launch date. The last survival of mercury mission 'Funk' will be as an 'Honoured guest' for the mission.

The launch site for Blue Origin's first human flight will be in an area of Van Horn, Texas, where the firm has launched a New Shepard for previous flights.
