LOS ANGELES:  'Hawkeye' star Jeremy Renner says he is “missing my happy place” as he continues to recover from a serious snow-plow accident.

The actor posted a picture to his Instagram Story of a snowy scene at what appears to be his home in the Reno area of Nevada, with a sizable quantity of snow piled on top of trees and roofs in the area, according to "People" magazine.
I'm missing my happy place, As he continues to heal in the hospital following a snow-plow accident on the property on New Year's Day, Renner wrote in the caption.

Reps and Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said in the days following the incident that Renner was airlifted to a nearby medical facility on January 1 after he was run over by an "extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment" he owns while he was clearing his driveway and assisting his neighbours with snow removal after a significant snowfall in the area.

'People' further says that he suffered "blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries," as per a statement from his representative, and underwent emergency surgery the next day.

The latest updates from Renner, who spent his 52nd birthday in the hospital on January 7, came last Friday when he uploaded a video to his Instagram Story of a nurse escorting him into a room for a medical scan. I hope you all have a very special evening, he said over the video.
