The original Ram-Sita of Indian television will reunite on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 for its Diwali special. In an upcoming episode of the dance reality show, Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia will both be featured. In Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, a late 1980s television series, Arun and Dipika could be seen interacting. A preview video for the upcoming episode starring the seasoned actors was released by Colors TV on Wednesday.

In the advertisement, Arun Govil portrays Ram killing Ravan while recreating a famous scene from his show. Nia Sharma, a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10, will also appear in the episode and perform a fierce performance while dressed as Goddess Kali. Dipika even remarked that she had the impression of "seeing the real Kali Ma" after seeing the actor perform. As Arun stood next to her on stage, fans cheered the original Sita and Ram together after all these years as Dipika also spoke some of her well-known lines from the Ramayan.

The Ramayana has been featured on Indian television in a variety of ways over the years, but Ramayan, starring Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, is still among the most well-known. The 1987 Doordarshan premiere of Ramayan, which was written, produced, and directed by Ramanand Sagar, quickly became a cult favourite. Arun, who portrayed Lord Ram in the television series, was recently seen at the airport with a woman holding his feet out of respect for him and his well-known TV persona.
