Ranchi: Around 7 people have died due to drowning in the Sone river on Saturday in Dumarsota village under Kandi police station area of Garhwa district of Jharkhand. It is being told that all the people who drowned went to bathe in the river. After receiving the information, the divers and swimmers of the village together have recovered the body of three.

While giving information to the villagers, he said that when a perSone saw the youth drowning, he made a noise. By the time the people of Expert Village could reach the river in swimming, the youth had drowned. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started the search for the missing youth with the help of swimmers and divers of the village, in which 3 bodies have been recovered. The remaining four are being searched.

The NDRF team has also been called from Ranchi to search for the missing youth in this incident in Sone River in Dumarsota village. Police station BDO Johann Tudu, Majiaon CO Rakesh Sahay and the station in-charge Ram Avatar reached the spot and searched the youths. The recovered bodies have been rushed to Gadhwa for postmortem. The people of the village say that these people used to play cricket on the banks of the river every morning. It is estimated that after playing cricket on Saturday, all the people must have gone to bathe in the river, due to which the accident happened.
