Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a hard-hitting tweet about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Taking it to Twitter he wrote the PM had called him but did not listen and instead only spoke of his own ideas.

The tweet was published at Thursday night where Hemant took a dig at PM Modi. He wrote “Today, the respected Prime Minister called. He only spoke his ‘mann ki baat’. It would have been better if he had talked about something fruitful and listened.” The state is reeling under resources crunch to which he said they did not get the assistance as per expectation. Jharkhand Health Secretary Arun Singh also said only 2181 vials of Remdesivir injection have been allotted to the state which is very less looking at prevailing situation. Jharkhand has been producing about 680 tonnes of oxygen on a daily basis while its requirement is just 80 tonnes. But there is an acute shortage of containers, vaporisers and cylinders. CM Hemant Soren had written to Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and others for help, but to no avail.

The state on Thursday reported 141 fresh Covid-19 fatalities taking the death toll to 3346 while 5770 fresh Covid cases have pushed the state’s tally to 263115. Jharkhand government has extended the lockdown-like restrictions till May 13 amid the surge in Covid-19 cases.
