'Jim Yong Kim' elected as the 'World Bank' President from the year 2017

Later on Tuesday, in the meeting of the Executive officers of the Global Economy keeper – World Bank a new President was elected for the organization. Jim Yong Kim has been now re-appointed as for a second five year term as the President of the World Bank. His tenure will start from July 1st 2017.

"Humbled to have the honour of serving a second term as the head of this great institution. I would focus on building a more inclusive world free of poverty," Kim said in a statement.

After getting the charge, Kim also said how it is important for the bank to change and repositions itself, how the bank needs to accelerate, become more bolder and agile, in order to achieve the goal they had on the first place- to end the extreme poverty by the year 2030.

In the meeting blueprints were forwarded for better work flow and spread on knowledge across all sectors and regions of the world.
