Bhopal: Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh later this year and all political parties are engaged in campaigning. In this episode, Congress is also in the field with full strength and former CM Digvijay Singh of the state is touring the entire state. But on Friday (June 2), he made a statement that opened a front against him by the BJP. In fact, Digvijay Singh addressed Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who created Pakistan by dividing India, as 'Jinnah Sahib'.

In fact, Digvijay Singh had gone on a tour of Bijawar in Chhatarpur on Friday. Talking to reporters there, he said in response to a question related to the Indian Muslim League, The Indian Muslim League is different and Jinnah Saheb's Muslim League is different. Jinnah Sahib, I am saying this because he was the President and he was respected by L.K. Advani. Late Jaswant Singh had described him as a secular person. Earlier, Digvijay Singh had called terrorist Masood Azhar as Masood Azhar ji, Mumbai terror attack convict Hafiz Saeed as Hafiz Saeed Sahab. Even Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has been describing fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik as a messenger of peace, who is always spewing venom against India. Not only this, digvijay Singh had described the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack as an RSS conspiracy and gave a clean chit to Pakistan.

BJP has become furious over this statement of Digvijay Singh and has launched a strong attack on calling Jinnah Jinnah Sahib. Madhya Pradesh BJP spokesman Govind Malu said that first Digvijay Singh called terrorist Osama bin Laden Osama ji and now Jinnah as Jinnah Sahib. Govind Malu tweeted, "After Osama ji, Zakir is now a messenger of peace, now Jinnah Saheb. Bravo! Shame on the king! Be it Wayanad's Muslim League or Jinnah's, the Congress is its sleeper cell. Who are those who chant the aarti of Allama Iqbal, the great Sultan to Tipu, those who respect Jinnah, those who raise slogans of Bharat Tere Tukde Hoga? ”
