Telecom company Reliance Jio had updated all its plans on December 6. After which Jio's prepaid plans were expensive by about 39 percent. However, there is still a way to recharge from Jio's old prepaid plan. The reason behind this is TRAI's Tariff Protection Compliance. Under this, telecon companies have to keep any tariff plan available for at least six months.
Other telecom operators also follow this, but it is not easy to access their old plans than Jio. For old Jio plan, you have to login to your Jio account. After logging in, click on the Settings icon next to the box with the Jio number. Clicking will show the option of your tariff protection. Clicking on it will bring the list of old prepaid plans, here you can select your favorite plan and recharge it.
For now, one thing to keep in mind here is that the tariff protection option will work only if there is no active plan on your number. If a plan will be active on your number then you will not be able to avail this facility.
