Patna: Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi has made a big claim that there was pressure on our party to merge from both the Grand Alliance and the NDA. Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Manjhi said that we are allies of Nitish, so we also show him the mirror. Manjhi said, 'We have vowed to be with Nitish; it does not mean that we should let Nitish ji do wrong. Nitish should call an all-party meeting on prohibition.

On meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former CM Manjhi said, 'If you don't meet Amit Shah, will you upset him? Most of us have to work. After this, he clarified that 'I talked to Amit Shah about giving Bharat Ratna to Dasaratha Manjhi, and he said that we will consider'. Earlier, while addressing the party's national executive meeting in Patna, Manjhi said, 'We are in a coalition; there is a lot of pressure on us, whether it is in this coalition or not. Clarity has been our weakness.

Continuing his talk, Manjhi said that, therefore, I say that the pressure is on to such an extent that you come with me. We have to take a decision. The time has come for a decision as to what we have to do. Each and every voter of ours wants us not to merge with any party, and neither will we.
