New Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday made a big statement on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Jitendra Singh said that like abrogation of Article 370, the BJP government led by PM Modi will fulfil its resolve to liberate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Not only this, Jitendra Singh also attacked the National Conference (NC) over its criticism of the film The Kashmir Files on the gruesome massacre of Kashmiri Hindus and their exodus.
Jitendra Singh further said that due to the rigging of the 1987 elections, terrorism flourished in Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Minister had arrived in Kathua to unveil a 20-foot-high statue of Jammu and Kashmir's founder Maharaj Gulab Singh. Renowned sculptor of Jammu and Kashmir, Padma Shri Ravinder Jamwal has made a bronze statue of the Maharaja riding on a horse. It was ready in three years.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said that parliament had passed the resolution by voice vote in 1994, stating that Pakistan will have to vacate the part of its illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
