A meeting of the Academic Council was held on Thursday at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Apart from this, the proposal for online examination was passed in this meeting. With this, the JNU administration can now submit a report of the pass proposal and minutes of the council meeting to the Academic Council in the Delhi High Court on Friday. Academic Council meeting organized on the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Presided over by M. Jagadish Kumar.

For your information, let us tell you that through this meeting, a proposal for online examination has come under December semester. Apart from this, due to the boycott of the December semester examination by the students, the university had provided the option of online examination to the students through WhatsApp and email. The proposal for online examination through the same WhatsApp and email has been unanimously passed by all the members. Under this, the online examination conducted by the university is valid.

Apart from this, the proposal was also passed in the Board of Studies at the university before the meeting held under the order of the court. The same has been taken to the Academic Council after this, here too the proposal for online examination has passed. In JNU, the student movement went against the increase in fees and the new hostel rules. For this reason, he also boycotted the semester examination in December.
