After the tube well water burst in Jaisalmer, another shocking incident has come to light from Rajasthan. It has caused all the commotion yet again. There is a release of mysterious, flammable gas from a closed bore well in the Talon ka beda village, Bavdi tehsil of Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The video of the incident is surfacing on social media and has gone viral overnight.

Very soon the matter came to spotlight and became the center of discussion among the locals. Onlookers from nearby areas started reaching the site. The incident took place in a 15 year- old and 500 feet deep bore well in a field of Talo ka beda village. The owner of the field is Annaram Devda. According to the information, the bore well has not been in use since a long time. Annaram’s son Mahendra cleaned the bore well and put the pump to bring it in use again. After functioning for one and a half hour, there was a smell of gas leak. When a matchstick was lit the gas coming out caught flame and began to burn.

When asked about the incident to the villagers, Budharam Sankla, Premaram and Ramesh, they were quick to reply that this is the first time that the village is witnessing something like this. No other bore well catches fire or has led to a gas leak.

As the news gained momentum, the District administration intervened in the matter. Subdivision officer Jawahar Ram Chaudhary inspected the location and gave clear instructions to close the bore well and cover it properly. Also, no one should go near it or open the lid to see the bore well.

The subdivision officer has reached out to higher officials. The matter shall be investigated further to find out the reasons for the gas leak and the fire that followed.
