Famous Bengali TV serials are entertaining the viewers a lot and for continuing this entertainment another show is going to launch. Bengali viewers are going to get an upcoming television show ‘Rimli’. This show will hit the small screen on February 15. Actor Shaurja Bhattacharyya aka John is going to play the male lead in the coming show ‘Rimli’ opposite Tumpa Paul.

Talking about the storyline, the daily soap will narrate the story of a courageous girl who belongs to a farmers' family. This show will feature a refreshing pair in the lead. John will play the role of Uday in the show. According to his character, Uday completed his higher education from a foreign university and has sound knowledge in the field of agriculture. He later comes back to the country. On the other hand, Tumpa Paul will play the role of village girl Rimli who belongs to a family where farming is their only source of income. She saw her father and uncle working hard in the fields. Uday and Rimli’s common interest brings them closer and a new journey begins.

John worked in a number of TV shows including ‘Bojhe Na Se Bojhe Na’ and ‘Naagleela’. He was last seen in the supernatural drama ‘Nojor’ opposite actress Diya Mukherjee. On the other hand, Tumpa played a negative role in period-drama ‘Kopalkundala’.
