New Delhi: Today the whole country is celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas. On this day i.e. on 26 July 1999, India had won by beating Pakistan. On this occasion, today BJP National President JP Nadda paid tribute to all the Amar Veer martyred soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the country. Nadda said that the nation will never forget the valor, and sacrifice of the army.
On this occasion, Nadda also recalled PM Modi's visit to Ladakh. Recently, PM Modi encouraged the army by reaching the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Nadda said, 'PM Modi himself went to Ladakh, stayed there all day, held meetings with the army, encouraged our soldiers and met the injured soldiers. All these things send a message that 130 crore people, under the leadership of PM Modi, are standing with the Indian Army.'
On this occasion, he also said that his government and PM Modi are constantly working for the strength of the country's army. He said, 'PM Narendra Modi ji did the work of fulfilling the One Rank-One Pension. By paying about Rs 33,000 crore, PM Modi completed all the pending payments of the army. The case of OROP was going on for 40 years, but it always got political with it. But you gave full support to PM Modi ji in 2014 and we can say with pride that Modi ji has done the task of accepting OROP as a whole.'
