Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will start the party's "one handful rice collection" campaign from East Bardhaman district in West Bengal on Saturday and after that he will also have lunch at the home of a farmer family will do. BJP's national media in-charge Anil Baluni gave this information in a statement on Friday. Nadda will arrive at Bardhaman on Saturday morning at 11 am.

During this time, Nadda will conduct a road show and will also address the meeting of the core committee of the party. Baluni said that after reaching Bardhaman, Nadda will first offer prayers at the famous Shri Radha Gobind Temple near Katwa in eastern Bardhaman and then address the "Farmer Safety" Gram Sabha in Jagadanandpur village of the district, BJP in the entire state. Will begin 40,000 meetings to be held before the assembly elections.

Baluni said, "After this they will go door-to-door in Jagadanandpur village and start a 'handful rice collection' campaign." They will spend the day with the farmers in Bardhaman district. ”The BJP leader has informed that under this program, the party will reach home to 73 lakh farmers of the state before the 2021 assembly elections.
