According to reports, Rajamouli said in a chat that Jr NTR focused on his body for 5-6 months and forced him to run barefoot in the woods. The actor practised the sequence in his boots before the director shocked him by ordering him to go barefoot in a thorn-infested Bulgarian wilderness on the day of the film. The team had made certain that his route was free before to the shot. Jr NTR stunned the team, including Rajamouli, by running barefooted at incredible speeds during the trial run. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the film's delay is expected to have cost the filmmakers Rs 18-20 crores. This is due to the large quantities of money spent on the film's promotion, which stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in lead roles.
