Visakhapatnam: JSP chief Pawan Kalyan will visit Visakhapatnam on Sunday to support the Ukku movement. While briefing the media here on Friday, Jana Sena Party (JSP) general secretary Bolisetty Satyanarayana said that the JSP chief responded to the requests made by the unions of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Visakha Ukku Nirvasitula Ikya Sangam that the presence of Pawan Kalyan in the camp is 250. -day movement.

JSP general secretary Siva Sankara Rao said that Pawan Kalyan had already submitted a letter requesting the central government to reconsider the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant as it is related to the sentiments of the people of both the states and involved 32 people. Siva Shankar Rao said that 500 volunteers would assist the police to control the crowd and prevent any untoward incident during the yatra. Meanwhile, JSP leaders expressed concern over the permission given by the police for the public meeting. Till Friday evening, the police refused to allow Pawan Kalyan to hold the meeting. Seeking permission from the police, JSP leaders protested in the evening and said that the state government was afraid of the arrival of the JSP chief and hence denied permission for the public meeting.
