Ranchi: Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in the final match of the 16th season of IPL and won the title for the 5th time. After this victory, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren appeared very happy. He also expressed his happiness by tweeting. Hemant Soren praised captain Dhoni, calling him the lal of Jharkhand and the star of Tamil Nadu. Hemant Soren also addressed Dhoni by the name by which people in Chennai call him.  

Hemant Soren said that the prince of Ranchi, the thala of Chennai. Significantly, in the title match, Dhoni's CSK won the trophy by defeating Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said, "Jharkhand's Lal- Tamil Nadu's star, Ranchi's Rajkumar-Chennai's Thala, Jug-Jug Jiyo Jharkhandi lion." Hemant Soren wrote that your success is the victory of the whole country. The combination of innumerable diversities of the country is a proof of unity. Heartiest congratulations to Chennai Super Kings for winning the IPL for the 5th time. Hemant Soren also congratulated Ravindra Jadeja for the victory.
