Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also attended the inaugural program, while CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in a virtual manner. After the inauguration program of the fair, Scindia visited the fair and went to a shop and also fried Bhajiya. This Bhajia is known as the famous Garadu Chaat of Indore.

Scindia also reached a yuppy game zone and tried to win the prize by throwing a ring there. After this, he reached the cart of a peanut shopkeeper and got to know his condition. Scindia also asked the shopkeeper to take care of himself in winter. CM┬аShivraj virtually attended the opening ceremony of the fair as the chief guest. On this occasion, CM Shivraj said that Gwalior Fair is not just a fair, but it is a culture, a civilization. It has been in our tradition for thousands of years. It provides a proper shopping platform to people, while on the other hand, it gives traders an opportunity to do business. ┬а

CM Chouhan said that a business worth Rs 1300 crore is estimated here. At the fair, we are giving a concession of 50 percent in road tax, which will continue to be available. Gwalior is now moving forward on the path of rapid progress and development. There are institutions like industrial corridors, IT parks, and information technology.┬а
