On Wednesday, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the BJP. They have left the Congress and hold the BJP's lotus. After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Scindia formally joined the party in the presence of National President JP Nadda on Wednesday. BJP has made vigorous preparations to welcome Scindia in Bhopal.

According to media reports, Jyotiraditya Scindia will be on a tour of Bhopal today after joining BJP. Scindia will reach Bhopal in the afternoon. Their roadshow has been prepared from Raja Bhoj Airport to the BJP office, from here they will reach the Pandit Deendayal campus of BJP office. In Bhopal, BJP has put up posters in place to welcome Jyotiraditya Scindia. Bhopal Municipal Corporation has removed all the posters and banners on the roads.
