Gwalior: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday entered the house by offering prayers at the new government residence in Shyamala Hills, known as the power corridor of Bhopal. Due to this, Jyotiraditya Scindia's wife and their sons were with him. Now Scindia's new address in Bhopal will be B-5 Shyamala Hills. On Monday itself, Scindia reached Bhopal on a one-day visit and went straight to his official residence from the airport. He was given a grand welcome by activists and supporters here.

This government bungalow was allotted to Jyotiraditya Scindia after leaving the same Congress and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. The government bungalow has been designed from the inside according to Scindia's choice. The government house has been made huge like a palace. Its main gate is the centre of attraction, on which on both sides, the design of the snake has been made on the lines of the royal symbol of the Scindia dynasty. The Scindia dynasty has always believed that the Nagdevata protect the house.

Let me tell you that Jyotiraditya Scindia did not have any bungalow in Bhopal so far. Before the formation of the Kamal Nath government in 2018, Scindia had applied for a bungalow in Bhopal, but his application was not implemented then. In 2018, after the assembly elections, the Congress government was formed in the state, but even then Scindia's demand for a bungalow in Bhopal was not fulfilled. Jyotiraditya Scindia was a member of the Lok Sabha from 2002 to 2019, but even after being an MP for so long, he could not get a government bungalow in Bhopal. Adjacent to the bungalow in Bhopal's Shyamala Hills area where Jyotiraditya Scindia shifted, the bungalow is B-6, which is allotted to former Madhya Pradesh CM and BJP's firebrand leader Uma Bharti. Former CM Digvijay Singh, who is considered to be a strong opponent of Jyotiraditya Scindia, also lives in B-1 near this bungalow. The Shyamala Hills area itself has the official residence of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former CM Kamal Nath also has a bungalow nearby.
