Gwalior: Amid the tussle between the party leaders over the president of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Congress, former Union Minister and National General Secretary of the party Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that the decision will be taken by the top leadership of the party. Jyotiraditya Scindia's name is being further mentioned in the ongoing discussions about the Congress President in the state.

Sidhiya, who arrived in Gwalior on a two-day stay on Tuesday, was given a grand welcome at the station. On this occasion, the press people asked questions about the new head, Scindia said, 'The decision will be taken by the top leadership of the party. Scindia supporters in the state are constantly demanding that he be appointed as the new state president of the party. In Gwalior, where there are banners demanding to make Scindia the state president, there are demonstrations going on in many places.

A leader of Sheopur has even threatened self-immolation in front of the Congress office in Bhopal for not making Scindia the president. Kamal Nath has offered to resign from the post at the time of Lok Sabha elections and even after that. Since then names like Scindia, Digvijay Singh, Ajay Singh, Arun Yadav, Umang Singhar, Omkar Singh Markam have been in discussions for the new state president.
