Bhopal: After the poster controversy of the documentary film 'Kaali,' now there is a ruckus again with the new post of filmmaker Leena Manimekalai. In this, she has shown Lord Shiva and Parvati smoking a cigarette. Terming it as a perverted mentality, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has asked to write a letter to Twitter. He said that efforts should be made at our level to stop such posts by persons with a perverted mindset like Manimekalai.

He also said that whatever Leena Manimekalai is doing now, she is doing it deliberately. A case had already been registered against her. Now on behalf of the state government, we will get the Lookout Circular (LOC) issued by writing a letter to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Tweeting the photo, Leena Manimekalai wrote – Elsewhere. In this picture, two people disguised as Shiva and Parvati are seen smoking cigarettes. To this Narottam Mishra said that such tweets are hurtful to religious sentiments. People of some perverted mindset do such types of tweets continuously. Like Leena Manimekalai, the director of the film Kali has done. First put a photo of mother Kali smoking a cigarette. Now Shankar is tweeting photos of him smoking beedi in God's costume. People of such perverted mindsets are using Twitter as a tool to hurt religious sentiments. Such tweets have to be stopped. They will have to be scanned so that material that hurts religious sentiments does not come on social media. Home Minister Mishra said that I am going to write a letter to Twitter on this issue. I will say from Twitter that such posts of people with perverted mindsets like Leena Manimekalai, the director of Kali film should be stopped. Try it at your level which hurts the religious sentiments of the people. On another question, he said that we are going to write a letter on behalf of Madhya Pradesh to the Center to issue an LoC (Lookout Circular) against Leena Manimekalai. Whatever she is doing, she is doing it intentionally. Take immediate action on it.
