American singer Kacey Musgraves has featured after months of suspense on magazine covers. The singer-songwriter has dropped some clues about her fourth studio album much alone when it may be released the stars are aligning to make it happen sooner rather than later.

The country-pop star's diplomats announced the new album "Star-Crossed" to be released on September 10. The Interscope/UMG Nashville album will be accompanied by a 50-minute film version, also titled "Star-Crossed," which will be accessible exclusively on Paramount Plus. In the meanwhile, a trailer for the film, as well as the title track, have just been published. 

In the released trailer for a film, the singer has star herself, to accompany the album on Paramount on September 10. According to the trailer, the 50-minute visual features cameos by actor Eugene Levy, Drag Race winner Symone, rapper Princess Nokia, actor Victoria Pedretti, and comedian Meg Stalter. Meanwhile, the 15-song album is Musgraves' first after her divorce from fellow singer Ruston Kelly. The pair were married in 2017 and announced their divorce in July 2020. Musgraves released her third album, Golden Hour, in March 2018, to rave reviews and recognition as one of the best albums of that year.
