New Delhi: Former Uttar Pradesh CM Kalyan Singh appeared in a special CBI court in Lucknow in the disputed structure of Ayodhya. During this time, CM Kalyan said, "I am innocent and I have been framed due to political malice". Former CM and Governor Kalyan Singh were heard today in the special CBI court in the disputed structure case in Lucknow. He came out after about 3 hours and told himself innocent.

Kalyan Singh said, 'I was framed and prosecuted due to political hatred." He also said, "As a CM, strong security arrangements were made. There was a Congress government at the time, due to which I have been implicated with political malice and I am innocent." He said that from time to time, the officials of the concerned administration had been ordered to ensure the security of the disputed structure as per the situation. Being the CM of Uttar Pradesh, I and my government had made all arrangements to safeguard the disputed structure of Ayodhya.

Kalyan Singh further said, "I have been falsely implicated and I am innocent by making false and baseless allegations against me with political malice at the behest of the then Central Government in the whole matter."
